Interior dash and console (red) lamps intermittently very bright then dim fluctuating
 

Hi folks,
During a road trip this weekend I noticed while driving during the day (lights off) the climate and all other red status and instrument lights are periodically getting very bright then returning to the dim levels intermittently - very annoying...
There is clearly an issue with the voltage output or light sensor other...

Can anyone offer some guidance? thanks guys.
