Pushing 20 years since the last ones were made & a quarter of them still in use. That probably says something about the ownership group, but also a hell of a lot about the car.

There can't be many cars with a comparable rate of survival.

I've not thought about it as a percentage of the originals. 25% is much less depressing than only 170 remaining. There are almost twice as many Aston Martin DB5s left :rolleyes: More original Lotus Sevens even.

Seems there is still some way to go before they are too rare or expensive to take apart though.

And pushing 20 years since I bought my first one! Just 3 months to go for my "China" S8 anniversary.

Really weird thing is that my current one (only my second) was built exactly 2 weeks before I bought my first..... :love:

Don't forget there are non S models left too.
