S8 hand brake motor required

Chaps i need a passenger side hand brake motor unit , would prefer new oem if available at a reasonable cost ,or can they be got from who ever made them for Audi at a more reasonable price ,i'm guessing the majority of the second hand ones are poor as they seem to give trouble in general and the eba y ones look to cheap to last

Just to clarify depending on what brakes you have, ceramics have 4E0998281C and the rest have 4E0998281B, although can't see any difference in them. Either way they all cost the same, £456 from the dealer.

If I can chip in, while it is not S8 but they are all similar anyway.

The previous owner replaced whole callipers because of failed motors on my 4.2TDI with cheap (ish) units in the past because at that time cheap A8 motors on their own were not available, only A6 without sensors so it must have been a few years ago now. They are still working fine but they are definitely louder than OEM motors I have heard on other 8's. Same with A6 rear wiper motor, OEM was not audible and while the aftermarket work just fine they are a lot more noisy.

I removed motor and caliper and unfortunately the shaft on motor and splines on the caliper have corroded, I'm assuming these can't be replaced on there own ,or is there anywhere that would do a full refurb ,i'm guessing the other side is about the same age so id do both if not I'm going to replace both and be finished with them for good ,i've good standard steel discs the trw ones you fitted was it just the motor or motor and caliper unit complete
