HID Xenon 6000k KIT
 

Has anybody installed HID kit into the a8 class?

I am not the lucky one as I have rubbish yellow H7 and I hate it.

PS: The kit is going to change how the world looks like.:ROFL::ROFL:

Could be legal issues here unless your car has headlight washers ??

I believe it covers all the legal tosh.
Main thing is it is only Northern Ireland that has a legal problem, and then only at MOT time.

Mine had them when I bought it. They're still there.

Woop wooop.. hid kit installed..it took me about 30min each side..real pain to fit the hid bulb in..I also installed LED as parking lights..(of course with a resistor as they were throwing error on the dash)

Yes my 8 has headlight washers.

Does the A8 have projector lenses or reflectors? I've always read that you have to watch the beam pattern when fitting HIDs to reflectors to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles and that generally it's better to only retro-fit HIDs to projectors.

projectors as low beam, high beams are reflectors as all other D3's has(I believe).
I am planning to replace high beams and fog's for something what is not that yellowish as standard halogens. Any recommendations??

MTEC Super White, approx. £16 on eBay, very close match to white, I would recommend them to everyone, tried on many cars +++

You could probably get some good LED bulbs for the fogs and perhaps another set of HIDs for high beam or even LEDs?
