S8 D3 mirror paint code or similar
 

Does anyone know the S8 D3 mirror paint code or similar, I think they may be plastic coated I'm unsure, I have a D3 sport, getting my mirrors painted silver just wonder if anyone could shed some light for the right colour?

The S8's mirrors are anodised aluminium rather than painted plastic like the A8.

I'd suggest a flat aluminum silver with satin lacquer is probably the closest you'll get.

Cheers MikkiJayne, the guy at the spray shop showed me loads of Audi silvers which looked the same to me so I said I'd get back to him on the colour

I parked up to a 2013 RS4 on Saturday got a good look at the silver mirror colour which I didn't really like, didn't realise how much the 8 dwarfs the RS4. Got it booked in tomorrow as it was getting some more bumper work done and I've settled on colour L1H7 just think it will finish the car off nicely, will add a photo once it's done once and explained why I painted the mirrors to the Mrs:D

I spent last night googling audi paint codes haha think I have this colour on the wheels so hopefully works well

Came across this colour chart which was quite helpful

Just got them sprayed happy with how they've turned out :)

Took one this morning before work, colour seems to work well although the Mrs doesnt like it hehe, all I want now is the exhausts tips changed/change backboxes and I'll be content for a while
