MMI setup

So some local punks broke into my W12 yesterday, smashed the offside front doorglass and rummaged through the glovebox but took nothing except a memory stick with my favourite jazz tunes.
The alarm must have gone on for hours as when I got to the car the battery was dead flat.
I jumped it and it started with all the MMI settings back to default German. Ive changed the language back to English but I have lost all my vehicle settings including the suspension. I simply cannot get the screen that would allow me to adjust the air suspension, raise it or whatever.

Is there something I need to do to get this important screen back. Ive pressed the Car setup button but no suspension screen.

I had the latest software update prior to this. So dont know what else to do. Surely the system wouldnt revert to an old software.

I am sorry to hear that. I would try disconnecting the battery for a minute and connecting it cleanly (no bouncing or sparking). Sometimes flat battery seems to scamble the modules.
It's just a 10mm nut on the negative terminal.

Try rebooting the MMI, Press SETUP, Main Controller and top right button together as per the photo.
Make sure you press them simultaneously. The MMI screen will go black/blank, then show the MMI four rings logo and return to the menu.

Thanks Snap/Joe.
Im currently recharging the battery as it went dead flat.Car has been acting up since. Spend the whole morning hoovering up shards of glass from the interior. Ill give it a try 2mrw.

Does anyone know where I can get a double pane offside door glass. My car is LHD the broken glass is the side opposite to the drivers side. Or call it drivers side for a RHD car. Ive seen some on Ebay labelled solar reflective. They are a little more expensive than standard double pane. How do I know if this is what i should go for?
Regards

You need to read my thread elsewhere on this forum - http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=13674

When the battery goes very low, it can [and does] lose the configuration of the Control Head ECU that runs the MMI. Your Control Head has lost all its settings and options.

You need to readapt the control head and also set the coding.

VCDS job , I'm afraid ...
