Every chance I'm wrong but I think it's the sunroof manual winder?

Bit of googling suggests that I'm right, even if you don't have a sunroof it may have been fitted in every car regardless.

Ah that would make sense, i do have a sunroof.

Was wondering if it was to remove the fuse panel haha

Sunroof or maybe it's there in case your IKEA furniture needs a tightening?!

Its funny because thats how I described it to Marcin too, looks just like Flat pack furniture tools

My old A2 had a similar looking Allen key for the OSS roof. It was located in the headlining tho'.

Sunroof winder indeed. +++

Sunroof if you need to close or open it when you don't have power.

But if it's anything like other manufacturers it will be ****e.

Sunroof winder, and its actually quite good - The key thing is that when you insert it into the hex bolt hole, you push up slightly and that disengages the motor, so you're just winding the roof, and not the roof + motor.

Big difference in effort required lol +++

D3 has sunroof motor at the rear of the car, accessible through rear reading lights iirc, where D2 has it up front. First time I had a D3 sunroof issue I spent ages trying to find the bloody motor.... :rolleyes:

While on the subject of D3 sunroofs, I only noticed yesterday that it's only a "slide" sunroof and doesn't tilt, is that correct or am I missing something? :Confused:
