Fitted Leather car mats
Just seen these advertised on Facebook.
Could be of interest to some on here. I am not recommending these as I have not seen any in the flesh. I also have nothing to do with this Company They just look interesting and different Happy shopping  https://www.diamondcarmats.com/ |
At the moment I have mats on my mats to keep the mats clean! If I had beige leather mats I think I might have to have even more protection.

They look fantastic, and thats the problem, I would want to put car mats over the car mats to keep them nice! :hammer:

That's a very visually impressive idea!
Although the site says they're hard wearing and "scratch proof' (yeah, use my driveway over a winter and see how they fare!), I don't see them being hardy enough in the long term! Great to use for a car show though! On the subject of mats, I have a set of custom rubber mats made by a company in New Zealand called Rubbertree(.co.nz.). They're a great fit and have correct mounting clips for the factory mounts. Very hardy and practical for winter, hose clean! |

I like the idea of leather mats, but 47p2’s picture reminds me of a Jag XJ LWB I had a number of years ago with sheepskin mats in the back - they were too good to use, and I wouldn’t let anyone sit in the back with them, so purely for show and with a 5 year old at the time spent most of their time in the boot in a polyethylene bag! What a waste of money that was.

I enquired about a set for the D2 but they do not have the measurements from the manufacturer so only D3 and newer are available :-(
They said they will let me know if they do obtain them but I’m not holding my breath. |

A sheepskin boot liner eh? Now that was never an option on a Jag, but it will start to smell after a while. |
