Autodoc NEVER AGAIN !

my first order took 11 days to come
i ordered S8 rear discs/pads Brembo
S8 rear caliper carriers

all ok apart from the pads .. they had 2 part numbers on the box

1.brembo number for Toyota Auris Front pads
2.brembo part number for S8 Rear pads

why ? ive no idea BUT YES they are the Toyota Auris ones

1.5 hours later on live chat and sending pics im allowed to return them for a full or part refund depending on condition....

what a bunch of muppets ... Never Again

I buy parts from them as well. But I haven't had any issue so far. I don't fault them if the postage is slow; because Postnord is infamous here in Sweden. The last package I had to either wait 3 days for door delivery, or pick it up myself at the distribution office. I chose the latter :(

Do we have other sellers to choose from?

Yep, that seems about their normal level of service. I use their site to look up alternative vendors of things and then search out those vendors on ebay or Amazon.

I purchased my new fuel pump through them.
This took over 10 days to get to me.
When I chased them they stated the first order takes time as they check out the legality of the order and await payment to clear before dispatching.
They assured me any future order will be a lot quicker.
I told them they are unlikely to get any further orders from me, as the first one took so long to arrive.

As I say. YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION.
I have not used them since

I've used them many times and never had a problem. I do allow for slow service so never really use them for anything urgent. That said, I apply the same logic to anything coming from abroad. I find Oemvwshop and others just as slow.

You say you ordered rear S8 caliper carriers, what part number did you order? I couldn't find any still available a few weeks ago.

I've spend about £500 with them over the past 6 months and never had any issues. As long as you search parts with proper part numbers from elsawin you will be fine. I use http://www.oemepc.com/ They do take ages for delivery but the cheap price has to come from somewhere right?

I have used them once and it was a positive experience. It was for an Arnott strut which was by far the cheapest price. I ordered and the next day their discount went up by 5% so I called them, they cancelled the order, credited the amount to my AutoDoc 'account' and re-ordered the same part with the credit. This prevented me having to wait for the funds to hit my card which would take days. The remaining credit was processed separately and refunded in about 3-5 days to my card. The part was as described and only took about 3-4 days to arrive.

I've only used Autodoc once, and from ordering to delivery took 7 days, which is what I normally expect when ordering anything from the UK (live in Northern Ireland), and only used them as a last resort. Shame you've had a bad experience.

I have made two orders this year. And each time Autodoc has delivered without any problems. There is a delay when placing an order, but I accept that.
It's the best option here in Sweden, I believe
