Post a picture of your rear end...
...showing the TDi badge above the Quattro badge on the boot of a 2011 4.2 TDi if you can please!
There...I bet that elicits a response! :) Reason being a previous owner of my car stuck a cheap, tacky & wonky TFSi badge above the Quattro on the right hand side of the boot. My OCD can't cope with that so I've already removed it so I have to badge it as it left the factory and as I've already spent £19.61 on a TDi badge I'm hoping it never had the 4.2 logo as well! :D Just wondered the placement of the TDi badging... Thanks & kind regards, -=Glyn=- |
Sorry I cant help, mine is attached to the side of my metal shelving - just left the rings on the car

There will be some exact dimensions and positioning somewhere in a workshop manual I'm sure, but for now you can't get more accurate than the press picture...

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply Guys!
Looks like a 4mm gap between the existing Quattro badge and the new TDi one with the i finishing flush with the right hand side of the Quattro badge. Looks like I have bigger things to worry about as I've noticed oil leaking from the rear sports differential these last couple of days...:-( Thanks & kind regards, -=Glyn=- |

On mine, It looks more like the Left edge of the "T" is flush with the left edge of the "Quattro" badge. The outer edge of the "I" seems to be slightly further to the right of the edge if the "Quattro" badge.
Sounds very pedantic but it may bother some folks. |
