upgraded exhaust

My old A8 had quads with no silencers, sounded so raw and brutal. It was an intoxicating sound, my friends got tired of me making them drive it back and forth under a tunnel for me, whilst I stood outside in the freezing cold with a massive grin on my face!
My new S8 is so quiet its actully stupid, one of the best things about having a V8 is the sound. This thing is so muted it should be illegal. I have it booked in with my local powerflow dealer today at 2, hoping to make it a little louder but with keeping the standard tips, anyone know if this is possible?

Should be possible, I'm assuming they're changing the boxes?

Steve,

I've got quads on mine complete with 2 silencers, 2 resonators, and an X-Pipe.....I'll get an audio clip made for your delectation, or you can hold on for another 10 days and hear her live :D:D:D

I built my own using Jetex straight through mufflers. Each leg has 3 and I differ from most in that my X pipe is at the read diff after the second mufflers.
I believe I have the sexiest sounding 8 on the planet in a modest way.

Since this picture I have added 2 more small cans at the end to deepen the note further. :D

Well i made 3 sorts of exhaust for Mrs A8 but she wasnt happy with sound so she took it to MIJ today to get quiter version. Immy took back box off, and then straight pipes to back on either side.
Checked tho can still fit my on when Mrs A8 doesnt drive it and no kids due to go in car.
They had fun with car as it has lpg in wheelwell so they welded sheepish around there.
Her prob is A8 is used as daily car with kids in back and where we live lots of hills, so when we tryed exhausts i had made were to loud for baby and kids.

Ile video a few at the meet so she can here different types.
Im sure i can get her to get some sport cats next, ive already built xpipe and middle box. Ile cut off middle box so MIJ can make a box for her, so they can poss make a quiter box.

Wouldn't mind actully, will it come with the meaty breaks? I usually cruise around quite gently and actully really like the low down torque the A8 delivers. We can talk more at the meet if your serious..
