TV in motion button
 

Hi,

On sunday, my mate helped me with installing a button in order to turn the gala feed on/off to allow for tv in motion. In fact, he did it all..:) He made a special relay system as you can see below...lot of wires - i don't know how he did it but it works...including the light on the button.

It filled another blank button on the dash +++ and it allows me to turn it on and off depending on whether i use the sat-nav or tv :D

Electronically speaking, its a simple latching relay circuit, but looks neatly done.. !

oh no hang on.. I don't have TV of any kind in my car :-(

nice work oli, i ordered the switch a wile ago from vag parts but they went bust and i havent bothered since it sure makes work for the blank that was there

Ian had it's spot on...it's a simple latching relay circuit.

The idea came from CraigyB from TSN but he used 4 relays which my mate simplified to 1.

A great little way to turn it on and off! Really recommend it +++
