That makes sense -40C is probably the lowest the "system" will compute.
Also happens to be -40F, so you can get the same lower limit in the USA! I have seen that temperature on a car before, but it was my old Ford Focus and the external temp sensor was: a) optional to display and b) easy to swap. |
It returned to normal after 10 minutes driving: the "environmental condition" that seemed to cause this anomaly was leaving the engine running whilst jet washing the car (don't ask...).
Strange all the same... |
