Wanted, and this is definitely OCD, key fob rings
You know, the little Audi logo on the back of the key fob. D2 version key if that makes a difference.
It's actually a small cover plate that hides the screw that holds together the two halves with the flip-out key blade in. Anyone know where I might get one? |

Doh! Never occurred to me that people would have them available on eBay.
Thanks. +++ Edit: Ordered one from eBay. ;) |

Really weird follow-up to this. That is the spare key that SWMBO carries and to my knowledge that logo has been missing for years.
Yesterday she plonked her phone down in our hall by the landline phone and I noticed a small speck of something sitting on the screen. It was the original logo, slightly battered, that had been kicking around in the bottom of her handbag for ages; somehow it had just stuck to her phone! Interesting to see that it still has a complete paint job whereas the cheap replacement doesn't have any black paint where the rings intersect. :tuttut: And yes I did check, the new one is still firmly attached. ;) |

I know that most of us has some form of OCD! In regard to key fobs and rings, I have a ‘daily’ key for my S8, and a pristine version on a really nice key fob that my daughter bought me that I take only to our meets!
And I have an opinion on ‘OCD’ - it's a label that untidy and disorganised people, and those happy to put up with second best, give to the rest of us! Any thoughts on my thesis? |
Not sure I agree with your thesis Jim, I certainly don't fit it!
I'm relatively organised, but messy and only certain treasured/hallowed special items warrant the OCD attention. |
