1997 A8 Imroving the look of the front end
hi all looking to snaz up the front end of my 97 A8 - would like to fit some lower fog/spot lights like the later versions will be a direct fit? just have the plastic covers at the moment.
Also would like an S8 spec front grille or something nicer than the original. Any other ideas of what i can do to the front end to modernise the look? Finally i think the small audi badges on the side of the car (near the front wheel arches) look abit dates now - can i buy anything to replace these or is there a cost effective way of deleting or covering them? any ideas on fitting and sourcing the above items greatly appreciated. Fraz, a set of 6000K hids improve the look of the front end a lot and give you a lot more light output,but this won't be much good on sunny days. I would fit a facelift bottom bumper like the one I have seen on A8 Fruende, it really is the best PF I have seen, that bumper makes a lot of diffrence.

yeah that look good mate- how much is the lower bumper likely to cost? and what do you mean by the best PF? cheers

PF = Pre Facelift
I would try A8 Parts, if they don't have it I would try Audi, I couldn't get the price from Ekta but this is the part number if it helps when searching ebay etc... 4D0807429AE You will also need the bottom grills and fog lights, the pre facelift models have the fog lights built into the main headlight so you will need new fogs as well, but I do think its worth it. wow that looks NICE! so did you get the new shape lower bumper and work from there? any pointers on how to go about it greatly appreciated. Also what suspension did you have on the car and i'm loving those wheels - but imagine they were mega expensive!
