rear blind switch query
 

Hi,I am using a rear blind switch to operate the garage door opener as I have a spare slot in the dash,and had this set up in my old A8,and I really miss the convienience of it!!!

My question is, does anyone know which of the switch pin outlets, on the back are for illumination?

I know pins 4 and 6 are for the garage door remote.that works fine,its just it would be nice if it illuminated.

Pins 1 and 3 are illumination - Pin 1 is grey/blue (positive) and Pin 3 is brown (ground)

Just piggy back them off any of the other switches that are already there (ESP for example), you'll see the wires are the same colour throughout +++

Cheers Ian for reply,spot on as usual,picked up from the vent wiring in the end,as it had those wires exposed,rather than the switches, as their wiring is wrapped in cloth.+++
