Deposit paid, subject to a specialist inspection on Tuesday

The Boxster is a fun car that drives like it's on rails and is surprisingly practical, I had one a few years ago and loved it - thats a good price for a low mileage one - enjoy! I'm sure the lure of the 8 will get you back here one day!! :D

Don't suppose anyone can point me in the direction of a good garage for these, and/or the best forum for owners?

It's going to Autobahn in Coventry for the inspection, anyone any experience of this garage?

looks to be in pretty good condition, hope all goes well with the inspection+++

there is a porsche specialist in east london that i know personally.

also, i dont really rate this as a worthy replacement.

driven a few boxters, they dont cut it as porsches.

A8 is top of audis fleet.

the boxter is what in the porsche fleet?

Might feel a bit slow, 0-60 takes longer then your 8, but the handling should make up for it.

I can recommend PCT (Porsche specialists) in Coventry for Porsche in the midlands, they have been fantastic with the 997, and they work on some really rare Porsche exotica. I wouldn't go anywhere else considering your only down the road.

Thats a lot of posing power for 8K.... Nice colour etc.

Different choice, but I find myself approving of it +++

At least its German... :p

The Boxster is the affordable best handling of the Porsche fleet, and with your argument, surely the R8 is top of Audi's fleet? :p

Amar, it is actually PCT it is going to, they are the servicing part of Autobahn, sorry should have been clearer with that.

It's a 'keeper' for me and it'll fit in the garage, will likely add a bigger car to it in a couple of years, hopefully when the D3 TDI prices have come down a bit more :)

And yes, I know I could probably get a D3 TDI for that price now, but not one with 54k miles on the clock.

The R8 is the GT3 of the porsche game.

the boxter is the A1.......A3 if im in a good mood :D

:D

i am just in disagreement on this one, i think the 2.7 is gutless, doesnt handle as well as it should, you just dont feel the porsche compared to say a 911/Carrera etc......

the interior is dissapointing, the engine note too.

just not for me im afraid.

but i wish you happy motoring, and if your happy, thats all that counts.

also if you need anything.

HP motorsport in east london. all they do is porsches, drop my name from next door (unit 8) and they should be willing to help.
