Just n update, my strip light is being replaced by Audi under warranty. The extended warranty clearly states that it doesn't cover bulbs of any type. This makes me wonder if its a known issue as all...

Hi,
I also have the strip light out, and strangely enough also on the front passenger door. Did you ever get yours fixed!
