Ok had a look at this and there was some slight corrosion but nothing to dramatic , but unbolted them cleaned them anyway and still no joy, at this rate it will be on gumtree for spares or repair

as for the central locking unit it is also dry, was wondering if it could be an earth strap that has maybe broke driving over the pot holed road:Confused:

Luckily Stevie managed to source a new one for £150+++

He also made a full stainless steel exhaust for my old audi...
