Mine was done by Brotek, but that was about 8 years ago. They gutted the DPF and left the shell in place so it would pass any visual inspections, and then remapped it to best part of 400hp.

I think the issue is more to do with the rebuild costs of newer models, headlights at over a grand each, loads of electronics behind the bumper and grill, etc.

The 4.2tdi has two controllers, so the process is a bit more complex, but any decent tuner should be able to do it. Mine was remapped by Shark and was pushing best part of 400hp.
