I have settings elsewhere, but not related to the fingerprint/memory setup, the car suspension settings should also be under the same menu option, the warning lights come on at start up then...

Yes it does have the fingerprint system, according to the MMI handbook, i have to enter 'CAR' then 'USER' to enter new users, delete old users as well as the seat/mirror/steering wheel position etc...
