Interesting, I've heard of switches that basically "auto-adjust" on a ratchet when installed, though you do really have to follow the sequence correctly. Pretty sure mine is just screw in on a thread...

Are you sure you have a recent VCDS-Lite? It should go into measuring blocks exactly the same as the full version. :Confused:

As for the cruise control, that could be the stalk, I know for a fact...

I needed to do a scan so after that I checked this out while also monitoring the brake light.
I can confirm that the brake lights only come on at stage 2, i.e. 1011, so at 1010 presumably the ECUs...
