Do you have a brand/part number that you'd recommend? I'm never that happy with the S8 brakes; I've had discs replaced and calipers refurbished, but they're always just OK IMHO.

But, more seriously, I'm guilty of stopping with the foot brake on, but then my usual commute doesn't call...

Yep, I had that done two or three years ago and it cured a long-running problem with juddering brakes.

I kept getting discs and pads replaced, but after around 1500 miles (IIRC) the juddering...
