Thanks Guys, I seem to be topping up the reservoir soon after any heavy braking episodes. No sign of leaks anywhere so am assuming its the master cylinder. Needs a little more effort to slow down...

Word of warning don't use the silicon spray on seals around the engine bay or it'll mess up your lambda sensors prematurely.
AG bumper care, black wow and gumiflege(spelling) are all good.
