Had to move the S8 today from it's temporary home back to my reconstructed driveway.

It drove fine but I noticed a prominent whine/whistle that changed note absolutely in line with engine revs....

Did Audi ever make a manual PF or was it only after the facelift and 40-valve engines arrived?

The best place I found to wire in was the sunroof circuit, easy to identify from the switches on PF....
