Sorry chap, I was referring to the sidelights being replaced with LED's as opposed to the indicators, however those chrome filament bulbs are a good call too, I can lose the fried egg look then. +++

If I put my 2001 S8 into Tiptronic mode, and pull away hard in first from a standstill, I get an exclamation mark come up on the centre of the binnacle, which stays for a few seconds...

I have checked all the fuses that sounded like they might be related, (although one is listed specifically for the boot lights...
