What a nightmare.... Just went to the S8 which I haven't driven for about a month and it wouldn't unlock so I assumed the battery was flat. Opened the boot and turns out the battery was underwater....

You could try cold starting on LPG.
(not all systems support this but its worth a try and would assure its the pump if it starts)

Happens every time it starts of it hasn't been on for 12 hours or more.
