Thank you for the thoughts and advice of 'the panel'. New F125 switch purchased and fitted which has cured the problem. The car now drives perfectly :)

Thanks for the advice gents and yes Adrian, they very much enjoyed the car when using it. I'll maybe try to get a second opinion and see if there might be better news.
