A8 4.2 1995

Each time i press the mode button on the standard stereo it just comes up error. Doesnt even try to read discs.

Any ideas? Can i use an ipod on the cd changer lead?Is that possible?...

So i have the 3 spoke sport wheel fitted to my 1995 A8 4.2 and read somewhere it is heated? Is this true and is the a repair for it as it isnt very warm :D

Infa red key entry how to get working?

How do i get my infa red sensor key to work? Ive got 3 of the large type infa red keys, and replaced the batteries but have never been able to get them to operate?

Any tips?

Well its got the option code on the sticker for sports suspension, and it has a harsher ride and lowered look to it. Also has the recaro interior. Im thinking it is a sport from that :)

Plug a scanner into it and read what the coolant temperature is. If its giving an incorrect reading this could make fans come on all the time.

Lift coilpacks one by one and listen for a clicking sound. This means that coilpack is firing.

When it makes no noise when lifted you know somethings wrong....
