Why would it be a down grade? I thought polyurethane bushings are stiffer then stock? So that should help tighten up the handling?

Nice find! I eventually want to upgrade to these bushings but it'll be a long while before I can afford to buy them. Probably will happen next year.

Is it really needed to install new cam chains? My S8 has close to 200,000 miles (321,868.8 km "google search"). I plan on keeping this car for awhile.

Welcome. I will dive into replacing the fuel pump once I buy myself a inspection camera. I will for sure to be very careful with that long bolt. Can this job be completed in one day?

Congrats on completing the fuel pump job. I haven't been driving my S8 as I need to do some maintenance work to it and replacing the fuel pump is one of them which I'm not looking forward to do.

I'm happy to report that the TCU in my car has been removed. So I'm guessing that the solenoids were also removed.

Interesting.....sounds like doing a twin turbo setup isn't worth the hassle...
