The part numbers for the paddles match those for the S8. I looked into it prior to purchasing.

Went out this morning before work and got the cable re-routed. Was able to thread it from the AMI slot down to behind the climate controls without removing the glovebox which was a bonus!

I don't know the physics behind it, but I always thought skinnier tyres were better in such conditions. It spawns back to my WRC days, the rally cars use narrow tyres in snow/ice stages.
