Don't know about the 2001 1, but it wasn't because of oil leaking over the computer [mechanic checked] :)

Exclamation Problems I had with 1.8T Audi

During 2001 I rented a 1998 Audi A6 [1.8T] "S" for 1 week. It exploded within a day of having it :Confused::Confused:

[It had smoke coming out of it, then it exploded. I was starting the engine...
