Its been rather brutally chopped out to make room for the clutch pedal :rolleyes:

There's a factory cut-out panel for the clutch pedal in that panel so why its been hacked is anyone's guess.

Its in the panel that covers the pedal box and takes air from the central hvac unit to the floor vents. Same piece as on RHD but opposite :)

I can 3D print such a thing very easily, but without access to a CNC mill its practically impossible to produce it in steel given the cost and time constraints of fixing an exhaust system ;)

The wheel will be 13mm further outboard which usually isn't a problem with stock size tyres. Most Audis I've encountered will take 15-20mm spacers without clearance issues.

Probably the solenoid in the engine mounts failed so someone replaced it with a resistor (in the bare plug) instead of replacing the mount.

There's no supersession between the two numbers, but I just bolted a front hub...

Its almost certainly the oil cooler. Its a common problem and very easy to change on the 2.8 whereas head gasket failure is pretty much unheard of.

It would work, but you'd have to pull the front end to change the pump, and trying to drive a D2 with no power steering in traffic is not going to be easy. At that point, just get a tow truck ;)
