I've just lost the use of a 4x4 to carry around my bikes so i've got to convert the '8 to a bike rack!

I'd love to have a genuine audi or thule set of roof bars but just cant afford to shell that...

i'm convinced its power related as i can disconnect one ballast and the problem didnt happen but as soon as i operate them both as they should be it knocks the dash out.

all connections are clean...
