Outside door handle stopped working

The exterior door handle on the front pax side has stopped working. It may have gone wrong when I pressed the unlock button in the car whilst someone was trying to open the door.

Any ideas...

Thank you for all the comments. I don't use the sat nav but can confirm my annoyance has disappeared now that I use the light switch itself to tell what illumination the car is displaying....
