Thanks IT , I think the frame has seized as it won't open even using the manual option, wont move even a little. Unless someone else has a thought about trying to free it up ?

turned out ignition cable was not seated into switch properly, one click later and I has v8 power again yippee!!!!!

I had a quick check using a mulitimeter , voltage...

I had a quick check using a mulitimeter , voltage was 13.95 on battery, leaving the + connected I moved the -ve to the engine hoping when i touched it to the block the voltage would drop, but nope...
