I have connected the VCDS and retrieved the error...

I have connected the VCDS and retrieved the error codes from the EPB module 053. It shows the control module as a fault but also bot motors and worn brake pads.
All brake pads were recently replaced...

I have just tried via VCDS to enable the green menu

I went into VCDS
selected module 7 head unit
then selected adaptation 10
then selected channel 8 and read values

Then I get an error...
