I don't think the Platinum PD oil is suitable for cars with DPFs (low ash). Use the Longlife oil and change as often as you wish within service intervals.

I think every VAG owner should have VCDS, it soon pays for itself even if just used for scanning and clearing codes. Good luck sorting it. As MJ said, basic settings may sort it.

I have it on my D3 and have driven a D5 with it. The difference is immense, the D5 is much smoother and it seems more competent. I haven't driven the D4 but it seems an improvement to what is posted...
