I have had a strong smell of fuel coming from the back of the S8,I have taken the S8 to my local garage and they have said that the charcoal cannister needs renewing but they are not...

The dual pipes are both real and theres no middle box just a box behind each tail pipe,its also stainless steel which cost £350 inc vat.

Its such good value that I am taking my M3 CSL...

When I bought my 1998 D2 4.2 S8 it had no history,so can someone tell me if the S8 has a belt or chain and at what mileage should they be checked or changed.

over fueling

Hi Chaps, can anyone tell me what the main cause of over fueling is .
I get a strong smell of fuel after a journey.
Would it be the lambda sensors playing up.

Hi thanks for quick reply,I have swapped 2,3 and 4 cylinders with 1 but the fault still remains on 1.Where abouts is the amplifier situated.

Angry misfire on cylinder 1

Hi All

I had a cat warning light come on,so I checked the code and it comes up with P0301 (misfire cylinder 1).
So I changed the coil and changed the spark plug,when checking again the same code...

Hi

I have a cat warning light on at the moment,I have changed a coil pack which I think caused it to come on.
How can I reset it or does it go out when there is no fault showing again.

Maniflow Exhaust

Just had Maniflow in Salisbury custom make an exhaust system for me.

From cats back,part stainless and 3yr waranty £480 inc vat or £400 for cash.
