I have tried many times and failed with correct hardware/software/discs an settings. MMI discs on the other hand are no problem at all.

Everything worked on it although it had a gearbox change at about 150k.

I only broke it because it was worth more in parts...

At motorway speeds the 8 was at 3000 rpm whereas the 6 is nearer 2000.
