Not that that's a bad thing. I just think her songs (lyrically speaking at least) are more aimed at the female of the species. I do like some of her work though, particularly some of the tracks on her No Angel album.
Thinking about it, there are very few female singers I enjoy listening to. Not that I have anything against female singers, it's just not my taste, especially in the rock genre, which is what I tend to listen to the most. There are a few exceptions though, even in that genre; Bonnie Tyler, for example, and the fantastically powerful
'Alone' by Heart. There are a few others that spring to mind that I've always quite liked, like Enya, and for some reason
Beverly Craven's Promise Me has always been a favourite of mine.

I love a bit of Pink Floyd; I could listen to their stuff all day long. I do like One of These Days, but I prefer their later work (Dark Side and onwards) to some of their earlier, almost psychedelic sounding tracks; Animals, The Final Cut, The Division Bell, Wish You Were Here, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason and, of course, The Wall, to name but of few of my favourite Floyd albums.
