I am not going to make it guys sorry
I took mine out for it's first drive after the rebuild and the gearbox is just off with the fairies. Slipping, slamming in to gear, very slow to change, bogging the engine down and rpm jumping about at constant road speed. Oh, and something is making a whirring noise pulling away from a standstill (torque converter?). I've checked the oil level twice so I don't know what's up with it. I'll check again tomorrow but I doubt that's the problem.
Six months of work and considerably more than its value in parts and it's barely driveable. Gutted.
