before I get out and get under do you happen do know if that is an easy fix ?

what makes the burning smell on a front wheel shaft ?
I don't fancy the rear output shaft job so which job do I hope it is , lol ...it is certainly looking to be one or the other judging by the frequency of the problem of shaft seal failures !
ps proximity sensors yet to be located ...busy, busy ..that's retirement
