Something a little different in the workshop this weekend
Those of you who have visited may remember 'the hole' - an ex loading bay which got covered over as the site expanded. It is 18" below the level of the rest of the workshop so not that useful.
This weekend Mike and I are using this little Kubota and Mike's mini tractor to move 10 cubic metres of rubble from the opposite side of the yard, through the fire escape door, in to the hole, where it will be crushed down to 4" from floor level, ready to pour a new concrete floor on top. This will yield 30 square metres of new floor space for storing and building engines and gearboxes and relieve some of the pressure in the main workshop
