When I was working (retired over 6 years now) I had a 75 miles a day round trip commute for the last few years. I used the S8 and enjoyed nearly every mile! I’ve never ‘mothballed’ a car, preferring to enjoy them. But thank goodness we’re not all the same - that would make for a very dull forum! My TTS has proved to be very reliable (once I got all the issues sorted - which I knew about when I bought it) and, compared to an S8, it’s quite economical. And it’s fun in a ‘go kart’ kind of way. And they’re cheap to buy.

Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).
