Stop working on it then. Put the front back on and get out and drive it
The valve springs are just a precaution against the rare instance of them snapping yes? I would suggest you get it driveable and go and enjoy it for a while. Get out of the rut of aiming for perfection, and instead aim for working. Have some fun with it, and maybe look for a space where you can pull the engine to do the valve springs?
