Take the right bonnet strut off and either prop the bonnet with a broom or have an assistant hold it for a few minutes while you pull the old one and fit the new one. Pull the motor forward, rotating around the centre spindle which is stuck behind the hvac inlet. When you get to about 45 degrees it'll pull out sideways.

Some lithium spray grease around the left linkage and in the rubber boots on the balljoints helps stop moisture getting in.

I think when I had your car in I put some additional boots on the top of the spindles to keep moisture out. Swap those over to the new one with some grease under them.

I'll buy the old one for parts if you are going to get rid of it.
