Default Petrol smell after filling up the car to full

Another week and another irritating problem with the 8.

I need to drive from Blandford to Folkestone next week for work, so I have filled up the car in anticipation of the longest trip I have yet to undertake in the 8.

I have driven about 2 miles since filling up, and I was outside checking over the car as I do weekly and noticed a petrol smell (car has been standing about 9 hours since being filled up).

There is no sign of petrol anywhere under the car, so I popped open the boot and the fumes in there were terrible.

Done some digging and I am guessing that the culprit maybe here. as the smell seems strongest in that area.

I did get the smell last time I filled up as well, but put it down to overfilling at the time as after driving for a while and using some fuel the smell went away. So this time I stopped the pump at the first click, and still have the smell, so it looks like until the fuel drops below a certain level I have a small leak.

The weathers not great, so not taken anything apart yet. I'll probably end up going for a drive just to use some fuel to stop the smell.
