I was just sticking Tesco bog standard 95 in since I've had my A8 without a thought, but have used the 99 Momentum for a few months now (since the annual meet actually) and definitely wouldn't go back to a 95RON fuel. I reset the trip at every fill up and I'm now getting 40/50 miles more per tank using the premium petrol and almost 100 more on long journeys cruising at 70/80mph. And the engine is definitely running sweeter on the premium juice.
Tesco 95: ~320 miles per tank
Tesco 99 Momentum: ~ 360 miles per tank
Would be interested to see if Shell Nitro+ improves further on that. I'll need to visit the watering hole today so will report back when I've used a few tanks and see how many more miles I achieve with it.
