Default 3.0 TDI Inlet Manifolds..

Guys..
I'm guessing that this one has probably been disussed numerous times before.. if so can someone please point me in the direction of previous posts?

My MIL lamp came on a few weeks back and i discovered that the spring clip holding the actuator onto the end of the inlet manifold (passenger side) had shattered.
Result was that the actuator/connector rod from the motor wasn't connected and therefore shooting out problem codes..
I bought the little repair kit from Audi with new style (supposedly improved) connecting rod, actuator knob and spring clip.
All fitted in no time, can see the motor opening/closing the flaps etc as they should. Fault codes all erased, but within no time I'm now getting code of P2008 suggesting motor problem..

Anybody come across this before??
No other codes suggesting upper/lower limits not being reached.. just the P2008 (bank 1a)..

92k miles on the clock if that adds any clarity..
